Asset Inspection Procedures
Regular asset inspections are an essential part of developing an asset register. A detailed asset register is the foundation for planning and decision-making around the provision of maintenance services, compliance and safety.
Auto checked data entry fields include; location, description, manufacturer, model, serial numbers, asset category, equipment type, condition and notes. Records and documentation are made available through a secure customer portal where they can be viewed and downloaded as required.
Assets are allocated to a location, vehicle or person; changes to asset location are automatically noted.
Qualified technicians
Qualified technicians will carry out electrical tests using a Portable Appliance Tester (PAT) and assets tagged with a laminated printed label.
If there is a failure at any stage of the visual inspection or testing process our technician will consult with you as to the process required to repair or dispose of the electrical item.
Wireless Tags (Option)
Wireless digital tags are used to identify assets; making it possible to accurately read faded, stained or coated tags on plastic or metal surfaces. The Near Field Communication (NFC) scanning process retrieves an encoded asset number from the tag which then is used to automatically load the selected asset data. Each wireless tag is exclusively read even if other tags are close by.
